Rex

An in-progress AI companion for Windows, designed to live beside the pointer. V1 is not functional yet; what exists is the architecture and the constraints it has to hold. On deliberate activation — never a wake word — it is meant to read what is on screen, answer by voice or caption, point and draw overlay annotations to guide you through the thing you are doing, and dictate text into whichever application has focus. The rules it is built around: observe and guide but never act, no clicking or submitting or purchasing on your behalf; capture stays ephemeral, with screenshots and microphone audio held in memory and never written to disk; preferences stay local.
